I will be demonstrating a recipe and signing books on May 4 & 5 at the Celiac Disease Foundation’s National Conference and Gluten-Free Expo. The conference is taking place in Pasadena, and is a great opportunity to learn up-to-date information about gluten intolerance from doctors, researchers, and dieticians. You will also have the opportunity to sample the best and newest products from over 100 gluten-free exhibitors. I attended last year, and the experience inspired me to write my new book, Weeknight Gluten Free.




On Tuesday, May 7, I will be teaching a gluten-free cooking class at Let’s Get Cookin’, in Westlake Village. You will learn about terrific gluten-free pastas, the trick for making quinoa taste so good you’ll be happy to have it as a staple in your kitchen, and sauces that work on all kinds of foods.



















I will also show you how to prepare these healthful, fresh, naturally gluten-free dishes:

-Soft Socca (Mediterranean chickpea crepes) with Summer Squash, Basil, and Gruyere
-Sautéed Scallops and Quinoa with Orange-Avocado Salsa
-Pasta with Turkey Sausage and Bitter Greens
-Steak and Rajas Tacos
-Ginger-Cherry Oatmeal Cookies
